What should I expect when I sign up to work with you?
You should expect a real, truthful, and hard-working partnership from someone who has your back, but will tell you like it is! I’m trying to get to the bottom of your roadblocks on becoming your best self, it is going to take some work and an honest relationship between us is critical to me assisting you with your goals.
How long are the coaching sessions and how many sessions will we have to meet?
Individual coaching sessions will typically last for 1 hour. However, depending on the goals you have for yourself, an individualized timeline will be developed to meet your needs and your goals.
Where will our coaching sessions take place?
Sessions will happen over the phone and via zoom. If you are located in the Richmond/Central Virginia area, there may be flexibility to meet locally.

What is the difference between life coaching versus therapy?
Therapy typically explores the past of a client where the aim is to bring the client to normal functioning. Therapy will also focus on the ‘Why’ of your past (family dynamics, emotional/ psychological history, and or trauma).
Life Coaching typically explores the present/future of a client and the aim is to increase satisfaction and the success of a client based on their desired changes in relationships, life, and/or work. As your life coach, I will work with you to figure out your ‘why’ to better understand your story and how it connects to your relevant present behavior. Ultimately, we are going to ask the hard-hitting questions, have the deep conversations that will lead you to work towards your goals.
NOTE: In other positions I work in, I have much training in mental health support. Therefore, if I determine more therapeutic help is required, I will refer you to a licensed therapist appropriately.
Will our sessions be considered therapy?
Absolutely not! While our sessions may feel therapeutic, they cannot and will not be substituted for actual therapy with a licensed therapist. I fully encourage and support you have a therapist.
